You know – a thought struck me the other day – I know absolutely nobody that owns a Hardy fishing rod.*
I am not talking about hand me down rods or older rods bought on eBay – I am talking about brand new rods (and reels for the matter) that people are in the [...] So I needed a new pair of Polaroid’s – in fact I needed two pairs – a pair with light lenses for low light conditions and a pair with dark lenses for…..you guessed it, bright light conditions. Usually I would just head off to my local boots and try and find a pair that will do [...] OK, its winter and you know what that means for Pike fly fishing – yup, casting enormous flies towards particularly belligerent pike which are sulking near the bottom of their frigid home – you will be using intermediate or sinking lines and will need a 10 weight to manage the harsh conditions that [...] Ok, so it had to happen – I became all tackle tarty and just had to get my hands on a dedicated Pike fly rod – well I got two in fact however this review is dedicated to the fairly new on the market Loop Pike Booster. Loop says: If big toothy critters is the name of [...] As I was watching the new offering from Charles Rangeley-Wilson I was trying to work out how the guy consistently gets it right when so many other fishing programs get it wrong.
I mean you have only to look at the recent fishing programmes on terrestrial television to see how it’s not done, there [...] Hum ho – just back from a cold day after Pike – more on that later.
