As you can imagine – no posts for a while Talk amongst yourselves. While reading some other fishing blogs I could not help notice people are discussing the new ”People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” (PETA) anti fishing campaign. In case you did not know PETA campaign for any kind of injustice against animals, for example: eating them, using their skin for clothes (wool & leather etc), [...] So a few people have posted pictures of their better half’s on their blogs and I have came to a startling conclusion (although I have suspected it for some time) – Fisherman have better looking wives and girlfriends than anyone else. Here is a picture of my long suffering wife of three years (to be fair though we have been together 12) Do I need to tell you what she puts up [...] I am laid up with a rather nasty throat bug. I was looking through some of the blogs I visit when I came across this post over at Taunted by Waters. Essentially someone had linked to him and pointed out that he did not do much fishing however his writing was good for a [...] North Country Angler wrote a great post about death and dying – well, not really great – more sombre and well written – you know what I mean! Anyway, it got me thinking – he rose some very good points about where he wanted his ashes to be scattered and where probably they should not [...] That Friday feeling is great – you wake up in the morning and you just know you only have a few hours to go before you are the longest time period away from being back at work on the Monday – between those two points you must fill in as much time as possible fishing [...] |
