Hi Alistair,
Do you remember fishing th Harelaw nr Neilston? Well I am Brian, the owner/manager. Since I sold, retired, married and moved to California my fishing and tying style has changed a lot. Still, some well quite a number of my wee flees work very well here too. I have also joined The Federation of Fly Fishers and am on the board of directors, yippee. I have also been invited onto the western circuit of the Fly Shows as a master Tyier demonstrating how to tie traditional Scottish dressings inc Clyde and Tummel dressings. It is very novel to see that here and I am glad to do it. At the big show and season ender is in Yellowstone, with a week fishing before the show and a few days again after it. It is really great to be involved with the best tyiers in the US and beyond seeing what is new or what I can learn from being there watching others tie. There are also some fantastic bargains to be had in everything Fly Fishing and Fly Tying.
Anyway I’d best be going now and will look in at your site in the future as I have in the past.
Brian.
