Got to say that in the past I have maybe been a bit unkind to Greys and their customer service. At least now they do not advertise as having a lifetime unconditional warranty.
Also after my investigitive expose of how Hardy use subliminal advertising to sell fishing gear I guessed I was on a list somewhere.
Anyway, when my wife stuffed my GR60 onto my fishing rack in the garage and managed to break the tip I thought I was maybe going to be footing the bill for half a new rod. I am not one of those flighty folk that want a new rod every year so I was going to be gutted if I could not get a replacement and have to put up with getting used to a new rod.
It turned out that they had my tip section in stock and for the princely sum of £32.50 a new section arrived at my door in a comedy sized cardboard tube. A very nice lady from Greys sorted out the whole thing in a matter of a few minutes.
I am pleased to have a new handy cardboard tube that I can use for stuff.
