Would you eat human flesh?

10 March, 2010 by Alistair

I mean seriously – lets say it was an experiment totally sanctioned by the health board right – lets say they needed a half dozen people to eat a slice of human flesh for some totally unknown reason – you are not actually told what the reason is other than the test is not whether you will eat it or not – it is something to do with chemicals in your stomach or something.

This is not about extreme conditions where you have got to – this is about a  moral decision.

A picture of the Fine Young Cannibals - slightly less horrifying than some of the pictures I found!

If your initial instinct is to say “yes what the heck” have a serious think about it – maybe with a bit of cooked chicken on your fork.

Would you?

Could you?

This is a serious question to find out if you would eat the meat – try and maintain a respectful tone 🙂

Are Morrisonslooking for new ideas at their meatcounter? I believe this was once popular in Galloway. Bean was the family name of the suppliers.

“maybe with a bit of cooked chicken on your fork”

More like pork, actually… maybe pan sauteed and finished in the oven, stuffed with a mix of onion, pecans, cranberries and bread crumbs softened in turkey stock. A little apple sauce on the side. Tasty.

Reminds me of that film about the plane crash where they had to resort to eating those who had died .
Probably if you were given it without being told what it was you’d say it was nice but find out the source and the brain comes in to play and sets up all sorts of barriers .I think I might be tempted to try it..after all some folk drink their own urine …….as an aside I wonder how many new Veggies have been created with the showing of Lambing Live ? Baaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Meanwhile ‘not with the flock’ is out saving the universe, one forum at a time.

Doesn’t even want to post his real name.
Happy to hide from the limelight by sheltering behind his keyboard.

    What a hero!
