Hey, where are the Pike flies ?
A wee tip on how to turn a peacock eye feather into a nice wee branch of quills, put some domestos in a saucer and drop it it, watch it closely the frets will start to burn off going kinda grey in the process, dont leave it too long, get it out and rinse very very well under running tap.
Rubber gloves are advised.
Very good dyed purple when tying LDO’s! same with hackle feathers btw.
Top tip there John , very good way for getting a body for LDO – should be interesting on klinkhammers as well !!
