A rather interesting thread!
Here is a rather interesting thread about Mikes Tackle Shop in Edinburgh. A customer took a fly line back to the shop where they insisted they had to send it back to the manufacturer instead of just replacing it. The customer comes on to the Fly Forum for a bit of advice and then a representative from the shop turns up.
