Well at least the sun is out and it looks like it’s not raining. Looks is the key word, since it is Glasgow, and that could be just a brief moment of sun through a hole in the clouds.
How high is the water running? Wade-able?
At least it’s not 98F like it is here. (that’s around 37C) That pretty much kills trout fishing.
PS- Family and I made it back in one piece from Europe, but more important, the fishing gear made it back!

Totally not wade-able Chuck – certainly not able to cast a dry fly. You know it is big when on the guage it says 1m upstream and the last coupl eof days it has been sitting at 2m. Where we drove to for the 2nd half of the night is just a long channel of rapids.
Not all your stuff made it back, I found a pair of clippers in the front of the car 🙂
