I don’t often step into the world of politics as this is a fishing blog however here is a story that not many people in the UK know about involving chemical weapons in their back yard so to speak. I look on it as my duty as a blogger to spread the word.
This week a British National Party (BNP) election candidate has been accused of possessing the largest amount of chemical explosives of its type ever found in Britain.
Home secretary John Reid did not hold any special press conferences and it did not make any headlines outside of local newspapers in England and one online news service.
The 22 chemical components recovered by police are the largest haul ever found at a private house in the UK.
The home of another man charged with similar offences contained a rocket launcher and a nuclear biological suit as well as BNP literature and chemicals.Cottage is an ex-BNP member who stood as a candidate in the Pendle Council elections in May.
Now, if this guy had been a Muslim the papers would be having a field day, terror this and terror that. However it seems that this is not important for “the people†to know about

From Dictionary.com:
Terrorist
–noun
2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others.
I have never felt terrorised/frightened by Saddam, Osama or any of these ‘conventional’ terrorists. George dubya, Tony B and other civilised, responsible and intelligent leaders of the western world: they really frighten me. Are they not terrorists? There are 650,000 Iraqis who would agree with me if only they hadn’t been blown to bits by cluster bombs.
I could rant on all day!, but have to agree with you, Alistair. If said politician happened to be a muslim, I think the press reaction would be somewhat less subdued to say the least.
