We went for a walk along the banks of Loch Lomond today. I was struck at how beautiful it looked with the Autumn sunshine hitting off the still loch. I met some chaps fishing for Pike at a place I have never really thought of before (they must have had a half dozen rods out) and I considered it may be a good place for the tube.
Was up at Crianlairch today and Loch Lomond was looking great. Water was like a piece of glass and the autumn colours were fantastic. Back down Loch Long to Finnart Oil terminal then back over Glen Fruin to Loch Lomond where the mist was holding just over the loch giving a lovely winters feel to this scene. Ben Lomond with a dusting of snow Scotland at its winters best.
This is a lovely time of year to see the loch – I wonder if any of the pike were stirring!
Who are you calling a tube?
Ha! I like your humor!
