The Urban Fly Fisher

Went for a walk yesterday down through Kelvingrove Park to scout it out for the new season. Its looking absolutelly lovely.

There is a couple of weirs like this

and there is some lovely fly water all around this area.
Those rocks just look perfect for a litte wet fly.

I had a mail today from someone who tells me they had their first trout of the season yesterday on a dry fly. He seen a little hatch of what might have been march browns and just went for it.

To say im utterly jelous would be an understatement.
