hello to you all. iam thinking of fishing the kevin and the clyde. but iam wanting to know of any safe parking areas where theres a short walk to the river . iam a pensioner. and cant walk to far. also any good areas on the clyde.for safe parking .if someone could draw a map fo me i would be very great full.( i fly fish onle). thank you robertlee

Hi Robert - probably the safest place for you to park your car for the Kelvin would be in Garscube estate which is off Bearsden Road - commonly known as “The Vet School”
Hmmmm for the Clyde probably the easiest access would be to drive up to the village of Crawford just off the M74 and park right next to the river

Hi Robert,
Another bit of the Clyde which has easy access is at the two bridges next to Abington,just below where the Duneaton Water joins.You can park right next to the river here and there is some nice water both upstream and down.

4 the kelly i would park the motor at kelvin bridge subway 4 the Clyde would b at the sea lochs b4 u get 2 helinsbra
