After a request on Alistairs blog I've looked out these rough maps of the Clyde. I've had to split them up as the one I have is too big to post here.
These maps should be looked at as a rough guide only and cover the main river, I've not marked up any of the tributaries as the information available on them is vague. I know a couple of them are definately not covered by a UCAPA Trout ticket and I'm pretty sure a couple of the others are not covered either so I figured the safest thing to do is just leave them all out and focus on the main river.
This is the lower section from Motherwell to Kirkfieldbank. The gap in the middle is where fishing is not permitted at Overtown Farm and The Milton Lockhart Estate. The shaded part is another area where fishing is not permitted, Stonebyres power station, this bit is shaded as I'm not sure where the exact bounadries are.
The Middle Section is from Easter Sills Farm to the road bridge at Thankerton. There's an area at Carstairs not covered by the permit that is not marked as I don't know the boundary of that either.
The Upper Section is from where the Roberton Burn joins the Clyde to the upper limit at Telford Bridge. The shaded area near Abington is another “no fishing” area, Southwood Farm, again I'm not sure of the exact boundaries.
If anyone has more accurate information than this let me know and I'll update the maps.
