Lovely afternoon down at the Kelvin today. The day was warm with plenty of flies on the water…the only problem being that there was not a lot of fish moving. Still managed to winkle out a couple of brownies and what looked like a little sea trout……..well it was silvery anyway. Met two absolutley sound [...] Who should I vote for? I am pretty sure there would have been a hatch of flies at around miidday. First of all I have ditched my system of using a tapered braided leader and will now be using a tapered nylon leader and will stick with it.
